South-Poland and Tatra mountains tour

Another hike in the Tatra Mountains has come to an end.

The adventure lasted a full 8 days, during which we hiked around Zakopane in southern Poland and explored parts of Slovakia.

The goal of the hike was to climb the highest peak in Poland, Rysy, which stands at 2,499 meters.

Initially, we attempted to reach the summit from Zakopane, but the weather changed quickly. Midway through the climb, a thunderstorm with heavy rain began, forcing us to turn back.

The rain and storm didn’t discourage us. We headed to Slovakia and conquered the Rysy summit from the Slovak side. It took us an entire day to complete the climb.

The trail was crowded, but the weather was perfect. Mission accomplished, and another peak is checked off the list! :)

During the hike, we were treated to breathtaking views and beautiful mountain lakes. We highly recommend visiting the Tatras, especially if you’ve never hiked in the mountains before.

If you’d like to visit the Tatras with your friends or acquaintances, we also organize private hikes.

Feel free to get in touch, and we’ll make plans tailored to your preferences!
